The Distribution segment manages the low and medium-voltage public distribution network.

The Transmission segment engages in the operation, maintenance, and expansion of the high-voltage and very high voltage electricity transmission network.

The Other segment comprises energy services, including district heating and thermal energy services for industry and local authorities.

This segment also involves in electricity generation through cogeneration and renewable energy sources, such as wind turbines and solar panels.

As of March 12, 2008, the company operated 1,246,000 kilometers of low and medium voltage overhead and underground electricity lines, as well as approximately 100,000 kilometers of high and very high voltage networks; and served approximately 38 million customers worldwide, including approximately 28 million in France.
